On September 21-23, 2023, ISEC organized an international conference titled “The Liturgies of the Church of Alexandria: From Late-Antique Origins to the Medieval Heritage” at The Catholic University of America. We hosted 22 scholars from all over the world exploring the liturgical heritage of the great city of Alexandria. This was organized in cooperation with the St. Athanasius and St Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School and the Liturgy Chair of the University of Regensburg (Germany), with additional funding Early Christian Studies (CUA), from Dumbarton Oaks, from Mary Jaharis Center for Byzantine Studies, and from Archimandrite Shenouda Society, and with the support of the local Coptic Churches. For a video of the public lectures, see https://www.youtube.com/
