Hope from Ukraine: Pastoral Concern for the People of God in the Midst of War

We hosted a very special event and discussion: Hope from Ukraine: Pastoral Concern for the People of God in the Midst of War  with His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Major Archbishop of Kyiv-Halych and Father and Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, who traveled from Kyiv, Ukraine, to make a pastoral visit to the United States. Catholic University President Peter Kilpatrick made opening and welcome remarks at this event. Other VIPs in attendance includedthe University’s Executive Vice President and Provost Aaron Dominguez, diplomats and government officials from Ukraine, Metropolitan-Archbishop Borys Gudziak of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, and other Ukrainian Catholic Bishops from the United States: Bishop Venedykt Aleksiychuk, Bishop Paul Chomnycky and Bishop Bohdan Danylo.
